Dynamic Data Templates in ASP.NET 3.5

My Article on Dynamic Data Templates in ASP.NET 3.5 was published in Simple Talk web site on 17th Nov' 2008. 

This article gives an introduction to  Dynamic Data Templates in ASP.NET 3.5 and explains how one can save a great deal of time and effort when building data-driven web sites by using them and highlights some of the ways of customizing DDT to suit the industry needs.

This was released in the Simple Talk Newsletter as a feature article on the 26th Nov 2008 Edition.

A proper data access layer would be able to send messages to underlying layers the details of the exception and the status of the operation too.

It is not considered a good thing to catch the exceptions and mute them.

Hi,

This is where most people get them selves mislead.
The purpose of the article is to demonstrate the use of LINQ to SQL as a DAL. And when using this in the commercial apps you can use an Error Handling block to handle this part or your own custom error handling code to handle it.
Important point is that exception is caught and you need to figure out your own way of presenting or handling it.
